Tasion Kwamilele is an Oakland native, strategic communications executive, and founder of The Kwamilele Group, a public relations and strategic communications agency specializing in reputation management, external affairs, media relations, and brand partnership strategy.

A graduate of Howard University (B.A., English) and University of California, Berkeley (M.A., Journalism), Tasion has led communications, stakeholder engagement, and public affairs strategies across the public and private sectors. Her experience includes advising elected officials, award-winning creators, major developers, and government agencies navigating high-profile initiatives, reputation-sensitive issues, and complex, multi-million-dollar projects.

Guided by the philosophy of “high-level work for ground-level impact,” Tasion’s work sits at the intersection of visibility, culture, and influence. She thrives in translating complex challenges into strategies that drive meaningful and lasting impact.
